Guy Thomas Fisher was born in 1947, in the South Bronx, New York City USA, and was a businessman and racketeer, best known to be part of the crime organization called “The Council”, a notorious African-American organization that controlled heroin during the 1970s and the early 1980s. His cooperation with the government led him to become part of the federal Witness Protection Program. Later on, a documentary was released entitled “The Guy Fisher Story”. His story was also featured in the series “American Gangster”.

For his personal life, it is known that Fisher has completed a PhD in Sociology while imprisoned. His nephew is basketball player Corey Fisher who is known to be the winner of the “6th Man of the Year” Award in the Big East during 2009.
