Miranda Kerr goes back to work after baby
Mrs. Orlando Bloom has said the "secret" to getting back into shape is yoga.
The Victoria’s Secret model joins the club of celebrity moms who must whip their forms back into shape so the world may admire how quickly they’ve done it.
Thanks to the Hollywood baby boom, this is going to be a pretty common story in the coming months. As one Celebritology reader pointed out in last week's Thursday chat, "I feel so bad for these women. I know people have to take care of their money-makers, but to put a post-partum body into a rigorous workout seems cruel and extreme."
One Hollywood mother-to-be agrees. In the new issue of Lucky, a still-pregnant Jessica Alba shared the depressing ways she'll slim down after giving birth to her second child. (Her daughter Honor was born in 2008.)
"I have a hard time with portion control, so I have 1,200-calorie meals delivered. ... But I also work out, so basically I'm starving. It sucks. I drink a lot of water," she told the magazine. She also expressed her thanks for electronics and workout partners in the gym. A person would "just drown in your own misery" without it. "Sorry, does that sound bad? I just hate working out," she added.

Meanwhile, new mother of twins Mariah Carey is getting back into shape by doing workouts in the ocean. How do we know this? She tweeted a picture of herself in a swimsuit as if to say, "Look, see? My body's all back to normal."
Stories about the bodies of Natalie Portman, Victoria Beckham, Kate Hudson and all the other new moms are sure to come.
While looks are certainly part of a celebrity’s fame, is it fair to expect these women to bounce back so quickly when their infants are still adjusting to bouncy seats? Sound off in the comments.
